Unexpectant View

I guess a really neat thing about living in the desert is the occasional surprises. Now that spring has sprung and the temperatures are almost as hot as Texas' mid-summers, there are flowers in some places that come out and drape over certain walls. This one is an anticipated view for us each morning on our way to school. It is a beautiful fuchsia flowering vine which contrasts with the brown sand below. I am grateful for small blessings!
