Back to School

We have made it back from the big city. It's about 1 1/2 hours, depending how fast you drive. The road is well maintained, completely lit at night, with trees lining the entire 100+ km stretch of road. Here is what you see:



But behind that tree lining lurks the desert; we get a peek once in awhile, just to remind us where we really are.



Then we get close to the border and there are rows of homes that look like they're from a middle eastern version of Better Homes and Imported Gardens
