"Iftar" is what the breaking of the fast meal is called, during Ramadan. One evening, we decided to do it Southern-style: chicken-n-dumplins. It is most certainly a different time of the year. Non-Ramadan times, people eat a hefty lunch and a light supper, but for the next week, all eating will continue to be from sundown to sunup.
