Upon beginning Arabic language study, we have come to value again those tools we used in elementary school. We can remember not being able to wait to get into high school to use a pen for notes. Now that we are in our 30ies, our thinking has returned to our younger years. However, now that our formal language learning is coming to a close and the bulk supply of erasers and lead is dwindling, we are turning a new corner in our lives here. We will continue to study and learn, but we might even get to move to ink. We’ll have to think about it!
